I've decided that I should update my blog...and chronicle about my new life in Brisbane. Well it's actually a suggestion from Peng since he found that his chronicle about his exchange in Hawaii was effective.
It's been almost three months since I've left the sunny island of Singapore and I'm glad I'm not feeling very homesick. The only few things I miss are my friends, the food, my GB girls and of cos...my parents. Well I don't really miss my parents alot but yea I do miss them. Sometimes I look back and I ask myself, "Was it right for me to be so persistent in chasing my dream of becoming a Pharmacist?" Eugene once told me that if I wasn't so persistent, perhaps my relationship with a certain someone would not be where it is right now. I do regret it but it doesn't mean that if I stayed in Singapore, things would have been any different. I am happy with where we are right now and I know that the time isn't right for the both of us are going through such big transitions in our lives.
To him: I'm thankful for the memories that you left me with and I'm thankful to God for letting me know you. At least when I was feeling lost in a new environment, you were there to help me through it. I've learn how to be a better Christian because of you and you motivate me to want to become better in my walk with God.
I've closed that chapter of my life and am open to new things but as what Pastor Joshua said, we should not out maneuver God and wait upon His timing in our lives. Lol...guys are now looking for their "ribs" and girls are looking of their "rib-cages"...lol now where is mine?
